 Diocese of Georgia Website

Christ Church, Savannah is the mother church for the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia. The church was founded with the creation of the Colony of Georgia in 1733. The church's two most famous pastors, John Wesley and George Whitefield, officiated services of the church in the courthouse of the colony. Today the Episcopal Church is once again meeting away from its building. This website is designed to keep parishioners up to date on the beloved church.
